Two friends.  Smouldering chemistry.  Too much vodka.

Emily doesn’t think her long time friend Luca is serious when he proposes a pact; if they are both single at age 35, they will marry each other.

But one intense weekend together has notorious free spirit Luca ducking for cover and Emily scurrying to hide just how deeply she feels about him.

Rebounding, Emily finds love with Conor, giving up her blossoming photographic career to move to his home town of Kilkenny, Ireland for their happily ever after.

When a tragic accident tears Emily and Conor apart, she is shocked to find that Luca has returned.  Pursuing her and looking to make good on his vow.

However, Luca is hiding something.  He says he’s a changed man and is determined to show Emily he’s serious about a future with her.  Still reeling from Conor’s accident, Emily must decide whether she’s ready to put her grief behind her and rekindle the fire she once felt with Luca.  Can she find love the second time around, or will she be burned again?
